Ceramic Substrates and Components Ltd was formed in 1968 to satisfy the growing market for Technical Ceramics,   Precision Ceramics and Industrial Ceramics. We  manufacture an extensive range of technical ceramic components for Research and Industry in various materials including Porcelain, Alumina, Steatite, Low loss Steatite ( C220, C221, C230 ), Cordierite, Magnesium Oxide, Zirconia, Pyrophyllite (Aluminium silicate, a machinable ceramic, also referred to as Wonderstone), Macor®, Shapal®, Silica, Sillimanite & Boron Nitride, Silicon Carbide, Silicon Nitride, Sapphire, Quartz and Graphite.
Materials in accordance with - BS EN 60672-1 : 1996   IEC 672-1 : 1995 (EN 60672-1 : 1995)

 Ourr manufacturing capability includes Dry pressing,  Extrusion,  Alumina Substrates (laser cut/scribed), Aluminium Nitride substrates and  Diamond grinding. Examples of components previously manufactured and further details  can be viewed by clicking on the various headings on the menu page.

Interlocking beads  ( insulating beads ), stand-off insulators,  PCB stand offs, Feed Through Bushes and egg insulators can normally be supplied from stock, other components are made to customers drawings or you can contact us for design assistance and advice. 

We currently export to Australia, Europe, Brazil, India, Canada, South Africa and the United States as well as producing for the United Kingdom.
